I love gardening, but I am terrible at it. Every year I make many trips to the garden centre to buy pots and soil and seeds and plants, and generally they all die! As someone who likes to succeed in everything, my love of failing to garden in a bit of a paradox but I still love it because of the small successes – the seeds that do sprout, the tiny tomatoes that actually grow, the one flower that blooms.
