Sadly, the conflict between the junior doctors and the government continues. I remain hopeful for a resolution, but patient safety has to remain a priority and there is no doubt that this will be compromised if the new contract is forced through.

I am so proud that I work for the NHS. It is the most extraordinary organisation and I am devastated that it is in such crisis.
